PLACE: An online experiential group

Place is an online experiential group that also takes us outdoors. The group weaves Transactional Analysis, Ecotherapy and creativity together to gently explore our relationship to wounded and challenged places, reflecting on how land shapes us and how we shape land. The group will meet fortnightly, online, for eight sessions. In between online meetings participants are invited to undertake site visits to a place that is somehow challenged or wounded, and build a relationship with this place throughout the duration of the group. There are specific protocols for the outdoor work, based on ecotherapy practice, that respect and honour the place that we have chosen and that has chosen us to work with. From personal experience of this practice I understand that we can contact very meaningful material whilst doing this work. The group is for trainee and qualified counsellors and psychotherapists who can access their own personal therapy if needed.
