Outdoor Supervision Group
Join me at Mugdock Country Park for a shared reflective space as we follow the rhythms of land and nature. We will meet just before each turn of the Wheel of the Year, on Friday mornings from 9.30 - 12.30. As we journey through the Wheel of the Year each season will contribute its own nature, energy, symbols and focus to support us in this work.
This group is open to trainee's, counsellors and psychotherapists. There are 3 spaces. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
The cost is £60 membership fee for each of the meetings, and a commitment is required for the full Wheel of the Year, so eight meetings in total.
PLACE: An online experiential group
Place is an online experiential group that also takes us outdoors. The group weaves Transactional Analysis, Ecotherapy and creativity together to gently explore our relationship to wounded and challenged places, reflecting on how land shapes us and how we shape land. The group will meet fortnightly, online, for eight sessions. In between online meetings participants are invited to undertake site visits to a place that is somehow challenged or wounded, and build a relationship with this place throughout the duration of the group. There are specific protocols for the outdoor work, based on ecotherapy practice, that respect and honour the place that we have chosen and that has chosen us to work with. From personal experience of this practice I understand that we can contact very meaningful material whilst doing this work. The group is for trainee and qualified counsellors and psychotherapists who can access their own personal therapy if needed.
Picture is taken from my own ongoing practice at Hassockrig Colliery. A piece of coal, lies next to a green leaf and a twig, there is some frost on the coal and leaf.

Thanks for thinking about getting in touch. Please let me know if you have any questions about therapy, supervision or any events I host. For people considering therapy I offer an initial consultation. This gives a space to discuss what brings you to therapy and how I may be able to support you. I offer both online and outdoor sessions, and I am happy to explore which option might suit you best. Once you contact me I will try to get back to you within five working days. Please look out for my email response and if you don't hear anything please remember to check your different email folders. I do always respond. Thanks, Norma
